Our summer recreational programs are designed to give dancers the freedom to try new styles, stay active, and build skills—without the commitment of a full dance season.

July 4-Week Trial Classes

Our July 4-week classes allow your dancer to try a specific dance style without a full-term commitment. It’s the perfect low-pressure way to explore something new or revisit a favourite style!

These classes are ideal for:

Dancers trying a style for the first time
New or Returning Dance Families
Experienced dancers looking to maintain and enhance their skills over the summer
Age walking to 13 years

Classes are structured, engaging, and fun—keeping seasoned dancers challenged while welcoming beginners with confidence.

August Sample Classes

Our August 4-Week Sampler Classes are all about variety and discovery!

Each week, dancers will experience a different dance style,

giving them the opportunity to explore multiple genres in one fun session.

Our summer camps are designed to keep kids active, inspired, and excited to come back each day! With engaging programming, supportive instructors, and a fun, welcoming environment, there truly is something for every child this summer at Take 5 Dance.

All camps run alongside each other, making it easy for families with different interests to enjoy their summer together under one roof.

Dance Camps

Our Dance Camps are high-energy, creative, and full of movement! Campers will jump, leap, and dance their way through the week while building confidence, coordination, and friendships.

Each week features:

A fun themed experience
Age-appropriate dance classes
Creative movement, games, and activities
A supportive environment for both beginners and experienced dancers

Perfect for dancers who love to move—or want to try dance for the first time!

Creative Camps (Perfect for the Non-Dancer)

Not every child wants to dance—and that’s okay! Our Creative Camps are designed for kids who love hands-on fun, creativity, and exploration. Camp options include:

Petit Picasso - Arts & Crafts Camps
A creativity-filled camp where kids can paint, build, design, and explore a variety of fun art projects that encourage imagination and self-expression in a variety of different art forms.

Explosions & Experiments Camps
A high-energy, curiosity-driven camp packed with exciting, age-appropriate science experiments and hands-on discovery. Perfect for kids who love to explore how things work!

Withdrawal Policy
Camps/Classes

WITHDRAWAL:

*cancel enrollment prior to April 30th, a full refund less $50.00 admin fee will be returned.

*cancel between May 1st & June 15th, 50% of fees will be refunded less $50 admin fee.

*any cancellations after June 16 will not be refunded.

*switching camp dates is possible as long as there is availability for the student to do so..

CAMP/CLASS POLICY:

Money will be returned in full if the session (camp or class) does not run due to low enrollment.

No refunds or credits will be given to missed or partially missed camps or classes.

Minimum of 5 students must be enrolled for camps or 4 dancers for classes to run.
